April+May Sketchdumps

UMMM I haven't been drawing very frequently in April and May because of cosplay prep for Fanime, so I had to combine the two months in one sketch dump. ;_; But June has been more or less efficient drawing-wise so far. :)

January Sketchdump

Ok well some of these sketches were from the end of December, and beginning of February, so it's not ALL January. I just want to start uploading sketchdumps more consistently. ;_;

Also I got a new iPod!!! It only holds 8 gigabytes, but its not like I know 64 GB worth of music anyway. Also not a lot of Apple apps are worth keeping, so yeah.
Anyway, I made great use of 200 dollars spent on this iPod:

Best use of two hundred dollars y/y?

Also, yesterday I ate In n' Out for the first time. And it was a terrible experience. I mean, the food was REALLY good, but my sister and I ordered waaaaaaaaaaay too much, and we overestimated the capacity of our capacities of our stomachs.

We split a tray of fries and we each got our own 3x3 burger, all animal style. Auuuuuuuuuughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it took me four hours to finish all my food it was the worst experience ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Why did I think I could eat a triple cheeseburger and half a tray of fries?

....................

I ate an entire meal slathered in Thousand Island dressing.
Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez.
Life is regret.

stuffff

I should start making monthly dumps, rather than whenever I feel like it, so I could at least title my posts as "December dump", "January dump" etc, etc.

And yaaaaaaaa I got into Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Tiger and Bunny. They're both reaaaalllllly gooooooooooood, but Madoka is really something. It's was one of the best animes I ever watched. :O (ok that's not saying much, I don't watch a lot of animes). Tiger and Bunny may have been good, but I can't help but remember it for its REALLY SHITTY ANIMATION and those FLAMBOYANTLY GAY MEN.

Also there's an Anastasia because I watched that movie with friends on Christmas eve. huhuhuhuhuhuhuhuhu We also ate a mother's home-cooking and it was really good. ^^

Aaaaand a vague, vague, drawing of Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, because she looked really hot in that new Dark Knight Rises trailer.

Really poopy WIP I started back in November and I decided to never finish because the idea is really lame and redundant for me and I can't get it to look good.

LOTS OF CRAP AGAIN + two movies I watched yeah

looooooooooooootttttttttts of sketches this time.

Also, yesterday, I went with a friend to see 50/50 and In Time. Weellll technically, we bought tickets for In Time, saw 50/50 ~*~*~*~**~*~*~ILLEGALLY and then hopped to In Time.
First of all, I want to say that 50/50 was a REALLY good movie. It actually made me feel nice emotions deep, deep down. The goofy best friend was likeable, which is very rare for me! I usually want to just punch the goofy best friends of movies cause they're mostly just annoying fillers. But in this one, I don't know, he was just likeable. Also, there was a huge excess of pretty white women in every natural hair color possible. Okay but overall, this movie is something I would push my friends into watching. (:
And then there was In Time. (spoilers ahead!) This movie was just ridiculously bad, I loved it. Justin Timberlake did such a bad delivery of the already horribly written script, it was just hilarious. And Amanda Seyfried and Justin had such little chemistry, everything was just so awkwardly forced, and their relationship in the movie didn't even have a good foundation. And, I'm sorry, but the funniest part was when the mother dies. She does the strangest thrust forward and just falls into Timberlake's arms, and then he starts screeching, which I think was supposed to be crying. The plot itself had lots of potential, but there were too many holes that the director overlooked. The only reason I even agreed to watch this(even though I already had too many doubts about Timberlake's and Seyfried's acting capabilities) was because Cillian Murphy played the bad guy. He was the only highlight of the entire movie, having actually delivered the lines well, and having a ~*~*~*sexy, suaveness air about him. I felt like the entire movie would've been acceptable if they didn't put a 90's boy band singer and a pretty-faced-but-mediocre-actress as the main roles. But I'm not a movie critic, so you could take that entire last paragraph as a joke. :I

Sketchdooooooomp

I wonder if I should number my sketchdumps.

Also I finished the Percy Jackson series a while ago! I really liked it! I might start reading the series's sequel after I finish the Hunger Games Series.

Also I went to the Mitsuwa Hokkaido Food Fair on Sunday with my sister and my friend! I wish I remember to bring my camera, oh well. My friend bought 15 dollars of croquettes on her 20 dollar budget............................................................................................................I ate a corn croquette, part of a crab and asparagus croquette, and part of a scallop croquette. Also I ate these squishy pumpkin cakes with caramel filling. My sister and I shared a bowl of spicy miso ramen(the broth of which murdered the back of my throat, but I couldn't stop drinking it). I felt very much like a weeaboo that day! Everything tasted sooooooooo nice, especially the scallop croquette. I might go to the fall food fair in November. But I'm not exactly sure what would be served at a Japanese fall food fair.....?

Sairor Moon

Lots of Sailor Moon related sketches this time!! I'm contemplating whether or not I want the recently re-released Sailor Moon manga, because my childhood aaaaaaaaaaaaawhhhhhhhhhhhhhuuuuuuuuuuuggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggh.
Also, I'm getting better about coloring sketches. <_>

Also I finished 3/5 books of the Percy Jackson series! I knoooooooooooooooooow I'm a slow readeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrr, I can't even say I don't have time to read because I usually have little to no homework these day. :I

On another update, it's freakin' hot. I just want to die in my own mucus in a puddle of Catherine gooooooooooooooo aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

Sketchdump again~

I'm currently really excited for the Hokkaido food faire at Mitsuwa next weekend!! I can't wait to gorge myself in freeeeee samples. My weeaboo is smiling!!

Also reading the Percy Jackson series. The plot is a little cliche but I still like it! But I can't help thinking of how mature these 12-year-olds are, as if 12-year-olds are still considered toddlers in my world. But I feel really old in general, so they might as well be. :I

Also getting my wig for my Dead Master cosplay soon!!!!! Also starting on my props for said cosplay soon, I already wasted a good gigabyte collecting reference pictures off Deviantart and Flickr.

More art! 8D

Trying really hard to be up to date on my blog. :I

Also a WIP!

Ffffffffffff I feel really unmotivated to finish this particular piece for some reason.

I'll try to make my life more interesting so I could blog about something, other than art. ;_;

More hooj ass art dump

I'll promise I'll actually start giving the individual artwork/sketchdump it's own posts, rather than posting a cluster of art at a time. ;______________; Also, I'll start posting WIPS.
Also I give up on making a post on Fanime.
....
....
...
I'll make a post on my dog though.
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
On another note, I'm going to cosplay Dead Master for Fanime 2012! :D Maybe I'll make this more of a blog and post all the WIP's for that cosplay. (:

Huge ass art dump

Let's try to make this quick and painless, yes? Although I imagine most of this is old news for those of you who feel enough pity for me to check my deviantArt occasionally.

I think that's all the digital art(that I'm willing to post online lolololol) I've done in the past one and a half months. I can't recall anything else.

Also I'm getting a new tablet next week. I'm really excited, it's going to be twice the size of my old Bamboo pen, and it has ~*~*~*~*~*~hotkeys.

Next up, a post on my new(ish) dog and another post on Fanime. (:

Still buried under my Tangled madness

Haven't made a post in a while. I guess I just wanted my Tangled sketches to pile up and make one big super post of them, rather than having each doodle a seperate post. Heh heh.

I realize these are Tangled spoilers, but to be blunt, I really don't care if I spoil anyone anymore since my sister already watched the movie. And I think my miniscule amount of followers, 3/4 of them barely even looking at my blog, really don't care about the movie Tangled. /shrugs

And speaking of watching the movie, I got the Blu-Ray DVD of it on Tuesday:

Extremely happy that I finally have it. :) Now it could be TANGLED ALL DAY EVERYDAY. I haven't watched much of the bonus features yet, due to lack of time. OTL.

Oh, also a Tangled Facebook graffiti poopy thing and a pencil sketches:

The purple blobby thing was to cover up an error in scanning, okay? ;_;

And a picture of my current Tangled collection:

Left to right-First row:Reusable Shopping Bag; Second Row: Read-Aloud Storybook, Chasing the Dream Coloring Book, Meet Rapunzel! Magazine, PVG Sheet Music Book, Rapunzel's Journal; Third Row: Mini Coloring and Activity Book, Rapunzel's Tale, Little Golden Book, A Dazzling Day; Fourth row-The Art of Tangled, Rapunzel's Amazing Hair; Fifth row: Tangled Blu-Ray DVD and Digital Copy(the digital copy is being given to my friend), Valentine Cards and Pencils(I really should start using these....)

Please don't ask how much this all costed. ._.; Also I know I'm being childish. ((((((((((:

That's "all" I have on the Tangled subject for now.

On another note, starting next week is a sort of state exam for 1st-11th grade. I'm not nervous at all, since I usually score pretty well on it. (: Also the exams don't count towards our grades, it's more like a "report card for the school". Basically if the school average doesn't score particulary well on a scale of 1-1000, then well...there's something off going on. My school is scoring in the mid 600's, which is terrible. e_e I don't have high expectations of my school anyway, but....c'mon, 600.

So tomorrow, I'm going off to a friend's house to study, and then watch Tangled....and study....derp.....I don't know.

Oh, and it was my birthday. Lolollolol.

Lasuuuuuh Tag

Aggggghhhh, why is the Tangled graphic novel so hard to find? Hopefully it'll be at this one mall by next week, as they promised. ;_;
Anyway, instead of pursuing another piece of my ever-expanding-Tangled-merchandise-collection, we went laser tagging yesterday instead.
....
Right then, whatever floats our boat. Five teenagers.
We were really scared at first, and we thought it was going to be really awkward with other players, but we might as well go through with it since we already paid NINE DOLLARS PER PLAYER. WHATSOOVERPRICEDIDON'TEVEN.
Anyway, we had to give ourselves codenames--we were planning to name ourselves after Tangled characters(or at least I was), but then we panicked so the employee had to give us codenames. I got Cloud.

Anyway, the game turned out to be really fun! For me at least. It was just a tiny bit scary though, since the whole place was a dark maze with a person popping out of every corner. And I kept shooting at this one person who kept turning out to be me in a mirror. Plus, the first five-ten minutes were really confusing, since we weren't totally sure where to shoot a person to get points. But we still got it--at least most of us did--however the number of times I got shot were countless multiplied by a variable. HUHUHUHUHHUUHHUHUHU. The game ended after 20-30 minutes of DERP, we got out, and checked our scores on the screen.

I got 224 points. Yay! The highest in my group of friends. (:
And some loser nicknamed Nitro got -104 points. AHAHAHAHAHAHA. Then I remembered that someone in my group was nicknamed Nitro.
Next thing I know, my friend standing next to me was making whale noises.

...................................

We're talking about going again, now that we're experienced, hopefully with more friends.

Oh, more tegaki-e Tangled art, if you don't mind:

In the past month...

Nothing terribly exciting happened, just a few trips with friends, and an order of a whole buttload of Tangled merchandise off Amazon. One of which is a PVG book(piano, vocal, and guitar sheet music book), which I need to remember to scan for a friend. We're attempting to play a song together from the book, she being a guitar-player, and I being a piano player. Not to say wer're a guitarist and pianis, that insinuates we're actually good at our instruments. Haha.

I could show you my new Yesstyle clothing from that group order a couple weeks ago, the total cost being over 150 dollars--we were really desperate to reach 150 dollars to get free shipping. xD And the shipping was suprisingly fast, at least in comparison to some of the blog posts I seen about how Yesstyle shipping takes up to two months. /shrugs

From left to right: Faux collared dress from Tokyo Fashion, Hello Rabbit long t-shirt from Dodostyle, Bow keyhole shirt from Ageha.

And then yesterday, three other friends and I went to some obscure, kind of shady Vietnamese resteraunt. The food was good, and my Korean friend seemed to enjoy her share of bun thit nuong(accompanied by at least a pound of chili sauce), but the beef pho my other friend and I ordered didn't have much lean meat. It was mostly meat with huge strips of fat still on it, which we hated--and it reminded me of bacon, and I hate bacon. ): My other friend ordered bun bo hue, which had globs of pure fat floating in it. Jeebus. Although what was funny was the look on my Korean's friend face as my two other Viet friends spoke to the waiter in fluent-ish Vietnamese. Haha. I would've spoken to the waiter too if my Vietnamese wasn't so broken with an awkward Amuuurican accent.

Besides all that, nothing particulary exciting happened. We are planning to go to a beachside amusement park over the spring break, but I'm a little reluctant to do so, since I vomit in the extreme heat real easily. Ahehehehehe...........................................We're also going to continue to pursue our quest for a Tangled graphic novel in a mall at a upscale district(upscale as in the mall is located near a Prada, Gucci, and a Burberry store. Yikes!)

That's it, other than a few drawings--yes, most Tangled related. I will one day make a blogspot that doesn't mention Tangled at all. xD I can't imagine it happening though.

This image contains Tangled spoilers! If you have not watched the movie yet, please do not click.

Tegaki-e Panty and Stocking cause I like raeping fandoms.

On an unrelated note: Vampire Knight chapter 68 came out two days ago, yay! The plot is picking up speed and has me on the edge of my leather, pimp armchair.

EDIT: Happy Valentine's Day! I hope everybody finds love in something, even if it isn't a human being. /coughcough
